The Lavender ad agency commissioned a visualisation of their ‘weird and wonderful’ Genus animation for their Graduate Program 2015. Within this program, Lavender was looking for a talented graduate to join their agency for mentoring.
The agency was looking for fun unique images with my personal touch of surrealism and absurdity. Lavender prepared a script for the animation, based on their slogans for the campaign. I was then given total freedom to visually interpret the text provided.
I first worked on the storyboard for the film. I then designed the characters and produced all final illustrations for the movie. The agency then finalised the Genus animation bringing movement to the visuals and adding sound.
